The coat of arms and the flag of Znin
The coat of arms and the flag of Znin are the most important insignia of the town and the district of Znin. They were established by Znin Local Council resolution on 28th March 2003. Because they are the symbols determining Znin District's identity and the dignity of its authorities they have to be given the respect due to them. The other resolution determines the flag protocol of Znin District.
Znin's coat of arms depicts silver walls with a widely-open gate in the centre and two side towers, all on a homogeneous blue background. There are two rectangular windows in each tower at the roof height. There are three rectangular
windows above the portal. The doors are golden; the towers are topped with golden knobs and such crosses. The windows are black, the roofs are red and the gate's interior is blue. The gate is connected to buttress foundation. The shield itself is semicircular.
The flag is a sheet in a ratio of 5:8. On a homogeneous blue background, in an intersection of the diagonals, there is the gate which is the main part of Znin's coat of arms. The Bugle-call of Znin
